JDB launched Mega Fishing on JSHO on 12 January with a 96.80% RTP spec — the highest-RTP fishing title currently on the JSHO floor. Fa Chai Fishing from Fa Chai runs 96.50% RTP and remains a popular alternative; Mega Fishing replaces the older JDB title that was retired in Q4 2025.
Cannon tiers and boss mechanics
Mega Fishing ships six cannon tiers — standard 1× to 50× base bet — with a Pinoy boss character that appears at the top of the 20:00 Mega Hall intermission window on average once every 8 minutes of play. Boss fights pay a flat 25× base bet on defeat. JDB tuned the boss cadence down from the global release version (every 6 minutes) to match the Filipino market preference for longer boss-free stretches.
The session cap feature JSHO pushed for
The JSHO desk asked JDB for an in-game session cap — a per-session spend limit that locks the player out once hit. JDB shipped it in the Philippines build. Default cap is ₱500 for new players; adjustable up to ₱5,000 per session, enforced per-session not per-day. This is a first for JDB fishing titles and aligns with the responsible-gambling tools JSHO runs across the bingo hall and slot floor.
How it pairs with bingo
Fishing titles run at a slower per-shot tempo than slots, which makes them a mismatch for 12-minute bingo intermissions. Better use: the 30-minute gap between the 17:30 Jili Bingo premium room and the 20:00 Bingo Plus Mega Hall. Mega Fishing reads well on that window, especially with the new session cap locking down spend before Mega Hall starts.
Fa Chai Fishing stays on the floor
Fa Chai Fishing (96.50% RTP) remains available on JSHO with its five-cannon structure. The title does not ship with a session cap yet; Fa Chai indicated a Q2 update would add one. Until then, JSHO's external deposit caps cover the responsible-play layer.
